When we started looking for a light roast offering, we went straight to the Ethiopian family of coffees known for their delicious fruit notes and complexity. After sampling the naturally processed Guji Ardi, we knew we had something special.
In the cup, it's loaded with berries, dried apricot, brown sugar, honey jasmine, and wild berries; In fact, the green coffee has an extremely sweet and intense aroma before we roast it! If you want to experience a coffee delicacy, then give this a try!
Natural processed coffees are dried in the whole cherry before de-pulping. This means that the bean has more time to interact with the natural sugars from the cherry while the enzymes break down the mucilage around the bean resulting in a beautiful sweetness and distinct flavors in the final roast.
